In the heady atmosphere of 1930s Paris, Suzy Solidor thrilled audiences with her performances of erotic lesbian songs. Painted or photographed by everybody from Man Ray to Bacon, she sang surrounded by her 225 portraits. This intimate show will transport you back to a night in her club at the height of her career. During an increasingly whisky-fuelled evening, as Suzy regales the audience with her most famous songs, past and present begin to collide: she encounters past lovers, artists, her absent father and, finally, herself.
After a sell-out world premiere at the Royal Exchange, All I Want is One Night comes to Wilton's Music Hall in London's East End, and Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre.

For one night only, Jess Walker and Joe will be performing this one-woman show about the troubled life of the under-celebrated British performer, Pat Kirkwood, featuring many of the songs she made famous. This is their first time performing this show together since their sell-out run at New York's Brits Off Broadway Festival in 2014. This event is part of the Hargrave Music Festival.
...a spell-binding cabaret show…should Kirkwood be looking down from the showbiz heavens, she would be anything but riled by Ms. Walker's warm, evocative consideration of her career: a loving tribute from one singular talent to another...Joseph Atkins, a superb and sensitive pianist. - New York Times 2014
